I take your ordinary words and turn them into the words you wished you had the skill to write. I give you the confidence that your writing is clear, engaging and sharp.
How? Editing and proofreading tidy up both the structure and "nitty-gritty" things like punctuation and grammar, as well as making sure your message is clear and is presented in a way that will be easy for your reader to follow and read.
Copywriting converts the information you give me into the exact document you want – and it still reads as though you had written it (but without the grammar slip-ups).
And I can do that because I'm experienced across a range of industries and document types, and because I'm one of about 150 Accredited Editors in Australia.
While I'm a business and technical editor based in Brisbane, the internet allows me to help clients wherever they may be.
Share a significant impact you have made for a client
I know I've done a good job when a client tells me that I've kept their writing still sounding like them, but without the waffle and the grammar mistakes.
What is your most favourite technology gadget, tool, app or toy and why
I love the Track Changes function – truly I do. It makes my work as a business and technical editor and proofreader sooooo much easier. And the old paper and pencil are pretty handy too, especially when I'm mapping out what I'm going to write, either for myself or for a client.
What inspires you on a daily basis
I love learning something new every time I edit or write. The things I now know that I probably wouldn't have if I hadn't become an editor.

What do you love about working or living in the Samford district
Samford – a quiet and peaceful place to work and live, as well as being part of a community. Going to the Village and always bumping into someone I know. Some great places to eat and drink coffee.
